Very tasty
Very fresh and sweet scallops, enjoyed them as sashimi as well as cooked.
👍 so scallops look much bigger before cooking and shrink a lot after. this did not. it is clean and firm. tasted good too.
Prepared the hotate in sashimi style with uni and ikura. The smooth and tender texture of the hotate combined well with the creaminess of the uni balanced by the crunch of the ikura. Added small strips of Japanese cucumber to lighten the palate. Overall super satisfied with the purchase.
We were sick of supermarket con job scallop that start in XL and shrivel into the size of a 10 cent coin. So gave this a go and never looked back. Fresh enough to eat as sashimi upon defrosting & didn't shrink in pan when cooking. 100/100!!!
